The purpose of the Health Innovations PITCH & CONNECT Event is to promote collaborations and build awareness between innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs who have synergistic goals and aspirations. Innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs will give a 3 minute PITCH & CONNECT to event attendees.

Our aim is that parties with similar interests will leave the event with an action plan for collaboration, which will contribute towards achieving each party’s goal.

HOW TO PITCH WORKSHOP

Come to our How to Pitch Workshop delivered by Mr Petr Adamek, Director of Programs, CBR Innovation Network Ltd, Level 5, 1 Moore Street, Canberra City.

Learn in practice how to prepare a winning pitch that will result in the outcomes you want. Learn how to structure and present the elements of your business value proposition to match different target audiences expectations using the PitchPlanner canvas. Understand the difference between a personal pitch, your business pitch and your solution to customers. Powerful pitches result in new leads, sales, generate interest of investors, potential business partners and the public in general. Join us for this free half-day pitching workshop delivered by CBRIN practitioners exclusively for the Pitch & Connect participants.

HOW TO ENTER & PITCH

PITCH & CONNECT 2016 is being held between noon and 9pm to give clinicians the opportunity to attend. Pitching opportunities are available under three major categories:

Session 1:   HOSPITAL AND SYSTEM INNOVATIONS

Session 2:   HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Session 3:   BIOTECH

If you wish to Pitch, please fill out the submission form below and a pitching guide file will be emailed to you.

Each person presenting a Pitch is required to

  • Prepare a 3 minute pitch using powerpoint
  • Email the powerpoint presentation to mail@realise.org.au on or before 10th April, 2016
  • Bring a paper print out of the powerpoint presentation to use as a reference document during networking

Every presenter will pitch, in turn, for 3 minutes to the audience of the session.

At the conclusion of the pitches for the session, there will be networking time for the audience to approach presenters and discuss ideas, ask questions and propose potential collaborations.

Attendance is free for everyone who is pitching at the event.
